June 01: Registration forms, abstract submission
September 15: Registration of the participants (is planned in foyer of the Assembly Hall in the main Building of the University)
September 16-18: Work of the Conference (is planned in the Assembly Hall in the main Building of the University)
September 19: Work of the Commissions

Visas

Please, send the enclosed Questionnaire Visa Form and a copy of your travel passport by June 1, 2003 to the Organizing Committee to prepare documents for your visa support. After notification from the Organizing Committee you should apply for visa at the Russian Consulate in your country. The travel passport should be valid not less than 6 months after the Conference time. A copy of travel passport should be sent by fax: +7 812 3285479 or +7 812 3284421

Accommodation

  1. Radisson SAS Royal ***** — 295$ single / 340$ double. Breakfast (22 $) is not included. It is situated in the centre of the city in the middle of Nevskii prospect in 15-20 min by bus or route taxi. Cancellation — 7-10 days prior to arrival.
  2. Pribaltiyskaia **** — 140$ single / 160$ double (standard). The hotel is placed at the shore of Finnish Bay in either 30 minutes by trolleybus or 15 minutes by route taxi from the University. Taxes and breakfast are included. Cancellation — 7-10 days prior to arrival.
  3. Oktyabr'skaya *** — 80$ single / 110$ double. It is situated in the centre of the city in the middle of Nevskii prospect in 15-20 min by bus or route taxi. Breakfast is included.
  4. University hostel — 20 min by bus 15-20$ for one place in double room. The hostel is placed at the shore of Finnish Bay in either 30 min by trolleybus or 15 min by route taxi from the University.

Because of possible problems with accommodation in connection with the anniversary of Saint Petersburg the Organizing Committee could suggest you other accommodation in equivalent hotel.

First five excursions are paid by Organizing Committee. Prices are given approximately. Detailed information on excursions over the city, suburbs and museums as well as on the theaters will appear on our web site and will be send additionally by the September,1.

Cancellation

Cancellations should be provided by a notification to the Organizing Committee. Money will be transferred at your expenses.

Financial assistance

Limited financial support with regard to travel and accommodation is available. Preference will be given to young scientist (under 35) but the lecturers will also be considered for support. You need firstly to send your registration forms and abstracts. Then send an application for financial support in free form. Young scientists should enclose a short CV and a motivation letter from a supervisor.
